Position Purpose

We have one one-year fixed-term contract opportunity available for a graduate in the Investments and Savings Centre of Excellence.

Position Output

• Provide support to the Enterprise Risk Management Function in furthering its aims and objectives
• Assist the Enterprise Risk Management Function and business unit management to capture, identify, evaluate and report on operational risk issues relating to all company processes. Assist with analysing and capturing the risks
• Assist the Enterprise Risk Management Function with the continuous improvement of Risk and Business processes and systems across the business Analyse error events and reporting
• Assist in implementing and monitoring of key risk indicators Identifying process flaws and risk issues, initiating corrective actions and escalating where necessary
• Assist in the implementation of the Internal Control Framework Assisting in driving a culture of risk awareness within the business
• Ensuring the effective and efficient use of the operational risk tool
• Performance of research relating to best practice risk management techniques
• Developing and maintaining an effective relationship with stakeholders in the business
• Provide a professional Enterprise Risk Management service

Requirements

• BComm (Accounting) or equivalent qualification
• Previous risk management / audit experience will be advantageous
• South African citizens only
