Social Media Reacts to Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane Joining MK Party. When it comes to politics, never say never. Just a week ago, Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebana announced her resignation from the Economic Freedom Front (EFF). She stated that after everything she has gone through, it was now time to focus her attention on her family.
Immediately after the news broke, many said the former Public Protector was joining Jacob Zuma’s uMkhonto Wesizwe. One of the reasons being that Advocate Mkhwebana’s husband, David Skosana is a member of the MK Party. Among other reasons, she stated that she joined the organization because of its understanding of the persecution of black people. Mkhwebane joins MK just a few months back after EFF’s former deputy president Floyd Shivambu, joined the party.
She was welcomed today at a press conference together with former ANC veteran Willies Mchunu. Mkhwebane has been appointed as the convener of the party in Mpumalanga, while Mchunu has been appointed as the convener in KZN.
