Andiswa Manxiwa Gushes Over Being On Miss Universe Kenya Judging Panel. She has made a name for herself in the industry as a model, Miss South Africa runway coach, casting director and fashion entrepreneur. Now Andiswa Manxiwa has another opportunity to represent the country international, as she sits on the Miss Universe Kenya judging panel

Andiswa’s career in the Fashion Industry kicked off in 2002 when she was scouted as a model by Heads Models in Johannesburg. She was immediately selected to participate at the “Afredisia” fashion show in New York in just 3 months into her career. Within that same year, she represented South Africa in the Ford Supermodel of the World model search held in the Dominican Republic.
In 2003, Ford models New York offered her a 2 year modeling contract. She worked in New York for a year, shooting Magazine Editorials and gracing various Catwalks. That same year she landed a lucrative beauty campaign for Avon Cosmetics.
In 2004, she returned to South Africa, bagging Editorials in South African glossy magazines namely, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Elle, True Love to name a few. She also graced the catwalks for leading designers such as KlukCGDT, Marriane Fassler, Stoned Cherrie, Gavin Rajah, and many more. That same year she joined Umzingeli Productions where she acquired her profound skill in Fashion Show Production.
In 2006 and 2008, she was a scouting judge for the Nokia and the Mnet Face of Africa model search, traveling to 13 African countries, searching for talent. In 2007, Andiswa was a Model Booker at O Model Africa, where she signed up and managed the Models’ careers.
In 2013 she joined LISOF, an International Fashion design School in Sales and Marketing team in 2013-2014. Her role at LISOF afforded her the opportunity to travel the African continent, visiting High schools and educating scholars about Fashion Education.
Andiswa has also been the Casting Director for African Fashion International since 2015 to 2020. She has also scouted and trained various models, some of whom have turned into supermodels stardom. She has also been involved on the Miss S.A platform as a Runway Coach, from 2015~2019
Andiswa continues her career as a Fashion Entrepreneur to date.
