“My Life Long Dream Finally Came True,”Didie Makobane On Being Cast Alongside Her Role Model. Congratulations are in order for Didie Makobane, who has just announced her latest acting gig. Not only that, the talented actress gets to share the set with her role model.
Didie has been an actress for over 15 years, and is still relevant even today. She made her television debut on e.tv compilation series, eKasi: Our Stories, in the scene named “Abafelokazi” (House of Widows), in 2011. After that Didie bagged roles on many major shows including Yoh! Bestie, Scandal! Yoh! Christmas, Blessers, Entangled, The Estate, The Queen, Muvhango, Imposter, Ke Ba Bolelletse, iNkaba, Lithapo, Zabalaza and Happiness Is a Four-Letter Word.
She is back with yet another show, a testament of the talent that she is. Didie has been cast as Nthabiseng on an upcoming Mzansi Magic show also titled Nthabiseng. By the look of things, Nthabisieng is a house helper, who is coming to cause an upset on the family she is working for. As much as Didie’s fans are happy for her, she on the other hand is excited to be working alongside the veteran Lilian Dube on the drama. She regards this as a life long dream, that has finally come true. We can’t wait to see both ladies on the 9th of August 2026when Nthabiseng lands on our screens.
