Applications Open for the Magalies Water External Bursary Programme 2027. Magalies Water is inviting young South Africans aged 18–35 to apply for its External Bursary Programme for the 2027 academic year.

Available Fields

• Mechanical Engineering – 2 bursaries
• Electrical Engineering – 2 bursaries
• Civil Engineering – 2 bursaries
• Water Care – 2 bursaries
• Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry – 2 bursaries
• Biotechnology / Microbiology – 2 bursaries
• Information and Communication Technology (ICT) – 2 bursaries

Study Levels:

• N4–N6,
• Diploma/NQF 6,
• Advanced Diploma or
• B Degree, depending on the field.

Requirements

• South African citizen
• Aged 18–35 years
• Minimum 65% average in Grade 12
• Eligible to study at an accredited and registered South African institution of higher learning

Preference

• Preference will be given to:
• Previously disadvantaged individuals
• People with disabilities
• Females
• South African citizens

Required Documents

• ID document
• Grade 11 and Matric results if currently in Matric
• Matric certificate if completed
• Latest academic transcript/record if already studying at tertiary level
• Provisional university acceptance letter
• The first four documents must be certified copies.
