Former Ukhozi FM Presenter Linda Sibiya Ditches ANC to Join EFF

Former Ukhozi FM Presenter Linda Sibiya Ditches ANC to Join EFF. Over the weekend, he was the programme director when creatives made their submissions to the EFF 2024 People’s Manifesto Dialogue at Raddison Blu Hotel Umhlanga, in Durban. Now Linda Sibiya has just been announced among the latest members who joined the Economic Freedom Fighters.

Images of the veteran media personality signing his membership are trending on various social media platforms. This unexpected move has left many of his fans and political observers wondering about the motivations behind his decision.

Sibiya is a well-known figure in South Africa, particularly in the media industry. For many years, he held a prominent position as a radio host on Ukhozi FM, one of the country’s largest radio stations. His tenure at the radio station earned him a large and loyal following. It’s alleged that his affiliation with the ANC, cost him his radio job.

While Sibiya’s decision to join the EFF may come as a surprise to many, it appears to be rooted in his desire to make a tangible impact in the society. Sibiya has been vocal about his concern for social justice, inequality, and the struggles of the marginalized. By aligning himself with the EFF, he likely sees an opportunity to contribute to these causes at a more substantial level.

In a statement announcing his decision, Sibiya emphasized his commitment to addressing the economic disparities that persist in South Africa, particularly the issue of land redistribution. This mirrors the EFF’s core objectives and suggests that Sibiya’s decision to join the party is a strategic one.

We welcome Mr Magic to our glorious movement and look forward to his meaningful contribution towards the growth of the EFF. 2024 is our 1994,” the party said.
