Phuti Khomo Bags a Lead Role in an Upcoming Rom-com Drama. Now this is the kind of entertainment we all need. So many news shows are telenovelas and serious drama series. Entangled has come about with a fresh angle and we are here for it.
The 1Magic new romantic comedy-drama, is also coming through with some of our most talented entertainers. Among those is Phuti Khomo who has been away from the small screen for a while. The former Miss Teen South Africa, media personality, actress and businesswoman plays the interesting role of Sharon. The character is an overachiever in her 30s who is on the verge of marrying the love of her life, Sizwe. However, her ex, Julius, suddenly resurfaces after many years, and that threatens everything Sharon and Sizwe have built.
Other famous faces to look out for include, Vuyo Ngcukana who has been cast as Sizwe and Vuyo Dabula who plays Julius. Media personality and actress Pearl Modiadie leads the supporting cast as Andiswa. Actor Senzo Radebe plays Reggie, award-winning comedian Mpho Popps is Zweli, award-winning actress Didie Makobane plays Zenani and Tessa Twala has been cast as Tshepi.
Entangled will premiere this Friday on 1Magic at 21:30.
