It goes without saying that people who are stressed at work tend to be much happier on the weekend. So don’t only look forward to Saturday and Sunday; try to spread out the joy and plan something fun during the week, like a movie night with pals.

Use positive affirmations and set positive intentions Monday morning. Tell yourself ‘Today I intend to give and receive.’ ‘Today I will feel energized in everything I do’. Setting positive intentions can make you see Mondays through rose-colored glasses.

3. Don’t Skip Breakfast

The worst mistake a lot make is to skip breakfast. Chances are high that you will be grumpy until your next meal. Boost metabolism and jump-start the day with a hearty breakfast. Morning hunger crankiness is the last thing anyone needs at the office.
