Muzi Mthabela Joins My Brother’s Keeper. Over the past couple of days, there has been reports that he is joining the hit Mzansi Magic telenovela for its second season. Well, now we get to hear it from the horse’s mouth as Muzi Mthabela shared the news on social media.

The decorated actor is the latest cast member to join My Brother’s Keeper. Mthabela will play the role of Mqondisi Shabalala, Mshengu’s estranged younger brother. The two brothers have a complicated history where they have betrayed and stepped on each other’s toes. Mqondisi is the one person that can stand up to Mshengu and does not hold back on any opportunity to have one up on him.

Speaking about his character, Mthabela said, “Some will love him. Some will hate him.
No in between. I’m already loving this character…
Remember the name: Mqondisi
.”

Mthabela will make his much anticipated debut on the show on 10 May, Episode 15 of season 2.

Currently Mthabela kills his role as Nkosiyabo Cele in the SABC1 hit soapie, Generations The Legacy. Because of his new acting gig, he will exit the show on June 5th 2024. Ronnie Nyakale, who plays Cosmo Diale on Generations: The Legacy is also exiting. The talented actor will be on our screens until 28 August 2024

All is not lost though for Generations: The Legacy, as more talent is being added in. Just recently Kgomotso Christopher made her debut on the show. The award winning actress plays the role of Keabetswe Moloi. Kea, as she is affectionately called, is the twin sister to the scheming Khumo Moroka.

It has just been announced that Didintle Khunou is also joining Generations: The Legacy. She will play Tumelo Gcabashe as of mid-June.
