Accountant

Based in Kuilsriver, Cape Town, this position would best suit a Graduate who is a Qualified CA (SA) with

a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Responsibilities:

■ Review and authorize the creditor /cashbook payments throughout the month

■ Process the e-filing (VAT and statutory salary related) returns for group companies

■ Process own transfers and drawing up of rental invoices for payment within the Group

■ Perform month-end close and reconciling control accounts to age analysis

■ Maintain accurate fixed asset and other financial records

■ Month end functions on group companies

■ Process month-end journals

■ Perform reconciliations on GL accounts.

Requirements:

■ Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes, especially MS Excel

■ Good attention to detail, pro-active thinking and excellent management skills.
