The world class uShaka Marine World, situated in Durban, South Africa, opened its turnstiles to the general public on April 30th 2004.
Responsible for the daily activities of selling tickets/wristbands and passes to both parks and up sell activities.
The attendant is responsible for the safe and accurate handling of cash and various ticket media and vouchers.
Responsible for the daily activities of thorough checking tickets/wristbands and passes prior scanning them on the Turnstile.
The team is responsible to ensure that every guest that goes through the turnstiles has a valid wristband.
Responsible for the daily management of queues, directing and giving information to guests.
Run opening, closing and mid-shift reports as directed by Ticketing Team Leader/Management.
Documents amount of cash and drops in locked drop box.
Accurately accounts for voids, refunds, returns, and exchanges with appropriate reasoning.
Ensures a re-rung receipt slip is attached when doing a return /exchange.
Prepare daily reconciliation form at the end of each shift.
Ensure all operations relating to Ticketing are performed as per company policies and procedures on timely basis and completed daily.

Matric
Computer Literate
Prior experience as a cashier
Provident Fund
