Hulisani Ravele Working On Launching Her Own Talk Show. She’s been in the industry for over 25 years, and is still relevant to date. Hulisani Ravele’s career began in the late 90s as ‘Sabrina’ on a kiddies TV show called Pula & Friends. In 2000, her rise to fame got cemented on the popular kids programme, YoTV.
Hulisani successfully made the transition from kids television to mainstream media and has grown as a formidable host in various television formats. After a hiatus, she returned to TV screens on Vodacom Millionaires, which later became The Vodacom Show. In 2013, Hulisani clinched her first solo radio show; a Saturday mid morning show on UJFM. The following year, she hosted a daily live talk show titled ‘I Am South African’. She interviewed nominees from all walks of life in the lead up to the Inaugural ANN7 South African of The Year awards. In 2016, alongside Maps Maponyane, she returned to host Season 3 of the show which led up to the 3rd ANN7 South African of The Year awards.
The seasoned media personality joined Capricorn FM to host ‘The Saturday Flex’, Saturdays 2 – 6pm, in 2017. During her 2 years with MSG Afrika, she also got to flex her talk radio muscle as a stand-in at Capricorn’s sister station, POWER 987. Hulisani then joined 947, as host of the Weekend Breakfast, Saturdays & Sundays, 7 – 10am.
Now Hulisani has grown, and she has her own platform called, Purpose. Power. Impact. This is a safe space to learn and unlearn, a place where you’ll find conversations, experiences and tools to help you on this journey of exploring your purpose(s), tapping into your true power, and positively impacting your life. Hulisani is soon to launch a talk show in the platform.
