One father, who is quite exemplary when it comes to executing their duties is Mpho Popps. Many may see him as his comedian who is always cracking jokes,but when it comes to his daughter, Imani Modikoane, it’s all seriousness. The award winning comedian and media personality always makes sure that Imani gets to be part of his activities. The two do content together, attend interviews and spend quality time to bond.
Two years ago, as guests on Jodell Tantij’s ‘5 Unscripted’ podcast, the father and daughter unpacked their amazing relationship. Mpho revealed that they communicate, even on subjects that seem difficult.
“I make sure that I have certain conversations with Imani that I was not privy to. I always check up on her. I am aware of the inner workings of her school, I know if someone says something to her in a bullying manner and then I talk to her about it. Understanding how it made her feel, and then we plot retaliation,” he said during the interview.
Now Mpho has just shared heartwarming pictures, showcasing his fatherhood journey. He regards it as the greatest journey he has ever been on. The pictures he posted are proof that he has been at it from the get go.
