The objective of the Harmony Gold Bursary Scheme is to recruit and select bursars preferably from communities surrounding our operations for full time study at accredited Tertiary Institutions. The Bursary Scheme accommodates students entering or already at Tertiary Institutions.

2. ISASA (South African Institute of Race Relations) Bursary
About ISASA is an independent (private) schools association in the Southern African region. It is a non-profit organisation, which represents its members. ISASA is offering prospective Foundation Phase, Intermediate and FET teachers the opportunity to win bursaries to study for a four year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or a one year post graduate (PGCE) degree at UNISA.

3. South African Institute of Race Relations (SAIRR) Bursary
About The national bursary programme of the Institute dates back to 1935. Since then our students, among them Mr. Nelson Mandela, who won a bursary worth £120 in the late 1940s, have served the country in almost every field of endeavour.

About The FAK is the oldest umbrella organization for African cultural associations in the country and has been founded in 1929. The FAK identified with its establishment two core objectives, namely to generate ideas for the development and strengthening of the African language and culture and secondly to play a coordinating role between African Cultural.
