Applications Open for the National Disaster Management Centre (NDMC) External Bursary Programme 2027. The Department of Cooperative Governance (DCoG) through the National Disaster Management Centre (NDMC) invites applications from qualifying students for the 2027 academic year who intend pursuing an Undergraduate / Post-Graduate Diploma/ Advance Diploma/ Masters Full Programme in Disaster Management or Fire Technology / Fire Engineering qualification (excluding certificates and PhD qualifications) at a recognized Public Higher Institution of South Africa.
How to Apply
Apply here and attach the following supporting documents and underneath the application form the following supporting documents to be downloaded in the following sequence:
- Certified copy of the South African Identity Document
- Certified copy of Matric Certificate
- Most recent academic results/ statement/ transcript with the minimum average of 60% for Undergraduate / Post-Graduate Diploma/ Advance Diploma and a minimum average of 65% for Masters applicants.
- Proof of application / acceptance / registration
- Brief Curriculum Vitae (maximum of 2 pages, only for Master’s applicant)
- Master’s Research Proposal on one of the 16 Priority Thematic Areas (Click here to view the 16 Priority Thematic Areas)
