SA Celebrities Celebrate 67 Years of Barbie In Style. Barbie celebrated her 65th anniversary on March 9, 2026. As expected, South Africa was not left behind when the world honored Barbie. This past Sunday, some of our well known queens gathered around to celebrate International Women’s Day and Barbie’s 65th Birthday at The Palazzo Hotel.
Among those who graced the event include Khosi Twala, Ayanda G. Thabethe, Holly Rey, Lebogang Raputsoe, Yaya Mavundla, Mercy Mogase and Karabo Poppy Moletsane. All the guests looked all sorts of cute, with many of the rocking pink princess like outfits. Over the fun they had, these women got to share inspirational stories, as well as learn from each other along the way.
