Penning a farewell
“My heart is filled with so much gratitude.
Farewell Shoki!🥹🥹 thank you so much to everyone who has embraced and loved Shoki over the years. It’s because of this character that I’ve become a household name and got my start in this industry. Shoki has changed my life beyond anything I could have ever imagined and the love from all the viewers online and in person is the most amazing thing to come out of all of this. This is very bittersweet for me because I will miss playing Shoki, I played her for four years and most of you all know me as her! Thank you so much to @bomb_productions @thaboboom @etvonline @zwabheka for seeing something in me and giving me this massive opportunity that I will always be thankful for❤️🙏🏾.
This is truly the end of an era but all chapters have to end at some point. I look forward to all my future endeavours and sharing more work with all of you. Over the past days and weeks I’ve received (literally😂) hundreds of DMs from loyal lovers of the show and Shoki, I thank you all for seeing me and taking the time to say how much Shoki means to you and that you will miss her (or just yelling at me not to leave the show🤣) I wish I could respond to all messages but just know that I see you and I appreciate you guys so so much. I’m excited to see all the drama unfold between Nkosi and Msizi! Continue to watch HOZ on weekdays from Monday to Friday at 19:00.
Salute 💪🏽❤️,” Shalate said.
