Bursary Opportunity At Saldanha Bay Municipality
Are you currently a first year University student for the 2017 academic year? Well you are invited to apply for this current bursary. The bursary is restricted to full-time study and attendance at an accredited University, Not University of Technology and is eligible to individuals from historically disadvantaged societal group or disabled individuals.
The following must be attached to the application; your application will be disqualified if you fail to attach all the necessary documents.
- Certified applicants and parents/ guardian’s ID
- Grade 11 results
- University provisional acceptance letter
- Proof of residence
- Motivational letter (What motivates you studying towards an accounting field and why should you be awarded the bursary). Note that the essay or letter must not exceed 1000 words
Requirements
- Candidates must have Mathematics. Maths literacy will not be considered
- Must have an average mark of 65% or higher
- Candidates must be accepted to study towards a Bachelor’s degree with financial accounting as a major course
Successful candidates will be required to enter into an agreement with Saldanha Bay Municipality whereby they will be obligated to enrol into the internship program at the municipality after successful completion of their studies
