Luyanda Zuma Expresses Immense Gratitude After Finishing as Miss South Africa 2025 1st Runner-Up. While some may see coming second as a minor failure, others see it as a strategic and even honorable position. It goes without saying when Luyanda Zuma entered Miss South Africa, the aim was to bag the crown, but she got position two, which is still a win, in a number of ways.
From the get-go, Luyanda put herself out there with an outstanding audition tape. After that the talented actress and model made it a point to sell herself. She did breathtaking photo-shoots, positioning herself well as a possible winner. Luyanda made it to the Top 10, making her supporters all proud. During the finale, she gave it her all, from her walk, confidence, poise, to her mission statement. Luyanda was then announced among the Top 5, and after a question and answer session she made it to Top 3.
Luyanda finished as the first princess, behind Qhawekazi Mazaleni, who was crowned Miss South Africa 2025. Karabo Mareka bagged the third position. This for Luyanda is a big deal, and she is grateful for the opportunity and everyone who walked the journey with her.
