Watch! Unathi Shares A Cool Throwback Video of Her First Day At Kaya FM. Indeed time flies when you are having fun. It is hard to believe that it has been a year since Unathi joined Kaya FM. The veteran media personality, singer and author joined the station in March 2020 to host the Kaya Midday Joy weekly on Monday to Thursday from 12pm to 3pm.
Unathi, has shared a video of her first day at work, and it is the most beautiful thing. First she was picked from her home, on that memorable rainy day. Just like any other person on their first day at work, Unathi revealed that she was anxious and had nightmares about oversleeping. On her arrival she was welcomed by staff members like Tbos Mokwele and Dr Sindi van Zyl. Unathi jumped right into work by having a music selection session, and also had a pre-recorded interview with Zanele Morrison
Unathi’s best friend Minnie Dlamini-Jones, surprised her with a bouquet of flowers while she was in studio. She also got a massive surprise, when all the staff members gathered to officially welcome her. It was a great day of laughter, joy, food, as well as radio. Looking back, Unathi thanks everyone who got her back on radio, and those who contributed to make her show.
