Nomzamo Mbatha Celebrates Her Major Forbes Award. She keeps on making herself as well as the country proud. Just recently Nomzamo Mbatha was honored big ate the 2024 Forbes Woman Africa awards.
The awards celebrate the continent’s most inspiring women excelling in different sectors and industries across Africa. The awards were held at the Emperors Palace Convention Centre, Johannesburg on 8 March. At the prestigious event, Nomzamo walked away with the 2024 Forbes Woman Africa Entertainer Award. The celebrated media personality, actress and activist, expressed immense gratitude over her iconic win.
“It all feels like a dream. Thank you, FORBES! Thank you, FORBES WOMAN AFRICA. I’m going to hold on to this feeling for a mighty long time,” she captioned her post accompanying several video clips and photos of the evening,” Nomzamo said in gratitude.
Other winners include middle-distance runner and Olympic gold medalist Caster Semenya who bagged the 2024 Forbes Woman Africa Champion of Change Award. Banyana Banyana head coach Desiree Ellis, became the 2024 Forbes Woman Africa Sports Award Winner. Veteran actress and entrepreneur Connie Ferguson was awarded the 2024 Forbes Woman Africa Media Icon Award). The CEO at EbonyLife Mo Abudu bagged the 2024 Forbes Woman Africa Businesswoman Award. South Africa’s former first lady Graça Machel took home the 2024 Forbes Woman Africa Lifetime Achievement Award. Machel dedicated the award to women both past and present
