Bonang Matheba Calls on for Minister Nathi Mthethwa to Be Fired. This is the second time Bonang Matheba publicly aired her views about the Minister of Arts and Culture. In August 2020, she and, Nathi Mthethwa had an engagement on twitter, after one tweep posted that the Minister annoys him to which Bonang responded, “Me too. Very Much.”

After this, the Minister then extended an invitation to Bonang asking for her to share her concerns with him. It looks like Mthethwa has to invite the celebrated media personality for more meetings, since he continues to fail to impress her.

Minister Mthethwa is currently making headlines after he defended the R22million flag project. The government wants to erect a flag at Freedom Park in Pretoria to the tune of R22m, something that does not sit well with most South Africans. On his interview with eNCA, Mthethwa argued that the flag project was not being wasteful and was part of his department’s mandate.

A lot of people are clearly not happy, considering the fact that there is unemployment, loss of income and so many things that they feel need priority. Bonang took her argument it to another level when she asked for the Minister to be fired. She also expressed how much Mthethwa is useless, hated by many and doesn’t know what he is doing.
