Thomas Gumede Celebrates His Film Going International. Congratulations are in order for Thomas Gumede. The comedian, actor, media personality and TV producer is over the moon as his film KEDIBONE continues to make waves. The film will showcase in India at the BRICS Film Festival.

KEDIBONE has been chosen together with best films from countries such as Brazil, Russia and India. Gumede was all excited as he shared the news on Twitter. This is his first feature film as a director, and we are happy for his achievements. Gumede, thanked the cast and crew members for all the hard work they have put in the project.

KEDIBONE is officially selected at the BRICS FILM FESTIVAL showcasing in India! These are the best films from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa! I’d like to thank all the cast and crew for their brilliant work!! Please rent it on Box Office! God is good,” Thomas said.

In 2020, KEDIBONE, was selected selected to Durban International Film Festival. Gumede is definitely basking in all his hard work for the world to see.

KEDIBONE is a coming of age South African feature film about an exotically beautiful Sotho girl by the name of Kedibone Manamela. She was born and raised in Orlando East, Soweto and has chosen to live her early youth on the fast lane.

The film is meant to educate young women and men about the trials encountered by most during the process of navigating the tribulations of the city life while highlighting the challenges that the majority of black South African youth face in the process of passing matric, solving for tertiary tuition and trying to secure a desirable future for themselves.

The cast includes: Natasha Thahane, Wright Ngubeni, Busisiwe Mtshali, Thabo Malema, Thami Mnqolo, Matli Mohapeloa, Kenneth Nkosi, Kwezi Ndlovu, Tessa Twala, Melvinah Eheli, Unathi Guma, Nicholas Sibanda, Tshego Koke, Keke Mphuti and Sivenathi Mabuya.
