Refilwe Modiselle Celebrates International Literacy Day With A Very Important Activity. On Tuesday, it was International Literacy Day, and it was heartwarming seeing some of our celebrities onboard. The likes of Qhawe Mazaleni, Mondli Makhoba took to social media to honor the day. Another personality who joined in on the fun is Refilwe Modiselle, who penned her first book a year ago.
The multi award-winning actress,media personality and now author released her first book Zizi’s World: Through her Vanilla Eyes in 2025. On Tuesday, Refilwe kick-started Zizi’s World LITERACY & AWARENESS, Book Tour. The event coincided with International Literacy Day. How cool is it that the tour is taking place in September, which is Literacy Month, Albinism Awareness Month as well as Heritage Month. The tour is in place to shed a light on the current literacy crisis in SA, where kids don’t read for understanding nor comprehension.
