10 Interesting Facts About Former Miss Botswana and Muvhango Actress Seneo Mabengano

Love her or hate her, Khumo Motsamai commands respect every time she appears on screen. The role is played by Botswana-born beauty, Seneo Mabengano. Learn more about her from the following facts.

1 Seneo Mabengano was born in 1996, and brought up in a town called Selibe Phikwe.

2. She lost her mother when she was 13, and she and her brother were brought up by her grandparents and later by her aunt and her husband.

3. Seneo is half Greek , half Tswana, and quite passionate about photography, art, modeling as well as film and television.

4. The upcoming star graduated from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, at their Gaborone campus. She studied from 2014-2018.

5. Seneo is also a beauty queen of note. She was crowned Miss Botswana 2015, and since then, she has been making waves in the entertainment circles.

6. In 2016, Seneo met her father for the first time, when she was 20. After her mom died her search for her father intensified. “If I win Miss Botswana then miss world probably My Dad will find me or it’ll be easier to find him,” she told herself.

7. Seneo’s aunt finally started helping and connected her with some Greek family that knew her dad inside out and worked with him before. She finally found her Dad on Google and managed to reach him on Facebook. Her dad went to Botswana, the two did a paternity test, and it came out positive.

8. After her graduation, the university hired her as a PR and Marketing Executive. Seneo held the position for 9 months.

9. Seneo also got the opportunity to work abroad, for 5 months. She worked as a Production Assistant for Moving Images Production in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

10. The beauty queen and actress moved to South Africa in 2022, after bagging a role in Muvhango. She plays Khumo in the SABC2 drama, a villain, who can even kill to get what she wants.
