Hot 91.9FM’s DJ Sasha Martinengo Fired For Calling Julius Malema A Monkey. Many radio hosts have been fired for the disturbing things they say on air. The latest one being, Gauteng radio station Hot 91.9FM Breakfast Show presenter Sasha Martinengo. He was fired from the station after he referred to EFF leader Julius Malema as a monkey.

“[A]nd people still listen to this monkey’ were the words echoed by the DJ on his Breakfast Show Tuesday morning. The station released him from his duties and offered Malema an apology.

Despite all this, Martinego stands by his word.

I’m sorry if I offended anyone,but I stand by what I said.

Anyone, irrespective of their race, colour, creed , religion, gender who disrespects a woman is a monkey.
