Ama Qamata Filled With Gratitude As She Exits Gomora. Goodbyes are never easy. This is the case with Ama Qamata who is all emotional when her journey on Gomora came to an end’

Ama is among the young talented actresses who are making a mark in the industry. The moment we saw her on our TV screens as Buhle in Gomora, it was evident that she was destined for stardom. Ama killed the role, starting off as this model C teenager who had to move to Alexandra township after the death of her father. Here and there Buhle had her flaws, but she really adjusted well to her new environment. Sadly she was recently shot and killed by one of Gomora‘s most notorious gangsters, Qhoqhoqho.

Ama shared a powerful message of gratitude to the cast, crew as well as producers of Gomora. She credits the show for taking her career to greater heights.

“…it’s been an absolute pleasure and privilege to be on the show. It was an opportunity of a lifetime and I’m so blessed to have shared it with you guys.
Thank you to the cast, crew and producers who are like family to me❤️
thank you South Africa for embracing Buhle in your homes and in public lol. I don’t take for granted what this show has done for my growth and career,
I’m forever humbled and grateful❤️,
” Ama said.

This though is not the end of the road for Ama as an actress. She has cemented herself as a lead on Netflix’s second African original series, Blood & Water, which is just about to drop its 3rd season. Ama plays, Puleng Khumalo who transfers to an elite school to prove whether the popular star student is her sister who was abducted at birth.
