“My Hairline is Intact and My Hair is Healthy,” Ayanda Thabethe Flaunts Her Natural Crown

“My Hairline is Intact and My Hair is Healthy,” Ayanda Thabethe Flaunts Her Natural Crown. Every single day on social media, black women who prefer to wear wigs, weaves or any sort of hair extensions are dragged. Some consider them as fake people who are ashamed of their roots. Is it that deep, or some people just enjoy policing women and their personal choices?

There are a number of our female celebrities like Bonang Matheba, Pinky Girl, Babalwa Mneno, Khanyi Mbau and so many others who prefer to wear wigs most of the time. It is their choice, and it is totally OK. But for some reason, their beauty standards are forever questioned, simply because they hardly ever show their natural hair. People like Ntsiki Mazwai alwaysthrow major shade at them for choosing protective hairsyles.

Another celebrity who had to come with some hair receipts after being dragged on Twitter, is Ayanda Thabethe. The actress, model and TV personality commented on Jay Z’s hairstyle, and immediately the tables turned on her. Ayanda said the America rapper should now cut his hair, and one tweep came at her saying, she should also show off her natural hair instead of hiding behind wigs.

Ayanda did not waste time, and immediately came through with the receipts to show that with natural, or otherwise, she still slays. Moreover, her natural hair is beautiful, with a very healthy hairline. She also added that wearing a weave doesn’t automatically mean you don’t like your own hair.

No offense sis but I’m one of those people who actually loves wearing my own hair as I do other hairstyles. My hairline is intact and my hair is healthy. Hope that puts you at ease,” Ayanda clapped back.
