Musa Ngema Pens A Message of Gratitude As His Journey On Generations: The Legacy Ends

Musa Ngema Pens A Message of Gratitude As His Journey On Generations: The Legacy Ends. It is always sad to see a character like the one he played gets written off a show. Most people who watched Generations: The Legacy, really loved Mazwi Moroka, hence why there are having it hard to accept that he is no more.

The role was played by talented actor Musa Ngema, for nine good years. He joined the leading SABC1 soapie after 16 principal actors were shockingly axed from Generations. The soapie came with a whole new cast, and only a few faces from the past were recalled. Ngema was one of the newbies, and he immediately made his mark as an actor to look out for. He slayed the role of Mazwi, from the beginning up until his recent departure. We saw the man start from running a Spaza shop, to being one of the most prominent figures in the media, marketing and PR industry.

Unfortunately when viewers still wanted to see more of Mazwi, the man behind the character’s contract came to an end in March this year. Ngema’s character a couple of days ago was murdered by Abby while attempting to deliver ransom money for his kidnapped cousin, Paul Moroka Jnr., played by Rebaone Kgosimore. His untimely passing will see the anticipated return of Connie Ferguson and Rapulana Seiphumo for a cameo.

According to reports doing the rounds, Ngema was shown the door for being dramatic and difficult to work with on set. Whatever the case, the man is grateful for the opportunity, as well as the memories she shared with the cast and crew members. He also expressed gratitude to viewers, who have been a great part of his career.

What a journey. I am grateful for all the memories created and shared with the cast, crew, and, importantly, the viewers over the last few years. #GenerationsTheLegacy,” Ngema said.
