If you have recently graduated in either a Science, Engineering or Technology field and you are looking for valuable work experience, then this internship opportunity is perfect for you. The Nelson Mandela Bay Science and Technology Centre invites individuals, who have recently graduated, to apply for this internship opportunity.
Please note that this internship is only available to UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES between the ages of 18-35 years old in Science, Engineering and Technology.
Stipends paid to volunteers per month are as follows:
National Diploma (R4000),
Bachelor’s Degree/B.Tech (R4500),
Honours (R5000),
Master’s (R6000),
PhD (R7200).
Volunteers will be required to:
Assist with School Science Support Programmes
Facilitate outreach programmes
Facilitate programmes offered in the centre
Requirements
A Diploma / Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, and Microbiology etc. Or an Engineering qualification.
Good communication skills
Ability to work with people
Technical skills
All travel and relocation costs will be for the candidates’ own expenses.
