We all know how passionate Nomzamo Mbatha, is about education. But we have only just got to realize that her mother, Manakutu Mbatha also shares the same interest as her.
Manakutu is a teacher by profession, and she always goes an extra mile to make a difference. Nomzamo took to Instagram to share how dedicated her amazing mother is to teaching. The talented actress ad media personality says her mother always comes through for underprivileged schools and building the learning environment.
“My mommy is a teacher and she has always been strategic in choosing to take her skills to underprivileged schools and building the learning environment, she is SO PASSIONATE to the point that even when she’s home she will STILL be in teacher mode,” Nomzamo said.
Because of this, she has nominated her mother’s school to receive funding ad aid from her recent initiative. Nomzamo has partnered with two organizations, Cotton On and Unilever, to gift underprivileged students with jerseys, school shoes as well as some cool goodies. They will also identify one high school in the Eastern Cape where they can support one learner with full stationery
