Watch: Cici Plans To Fight For Justice After Arthur Mafokate Walked Free. The case dragged on for long and finally a verdict has been reached. On Tuesday Arthur Mafokate was not fund guilty of assault charges against his ex partner Busisiwe ‘Cici’ Thwala.
The Kwaito king lawyers released a statement stating he has been acquitted of assaulting Cici. Mafokate was facing assault charges with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in an incident that took place in June 2017 and caused Thwala to undergo a pelvic replacement operation.
Cici was reportedly dragged for 300 metres while holding on to the handle of Mafokate’s car door. She said afterwards that she may never have children due to the injuries.
Cici has also released her own statement through her lawyers pertaining the verdict. She also posted a video in which she said the fight is not over until she gets justice. “My fight will continue until the truth is brought to light,” she captioned the video.
