Top 10 South African Presenters Under 30

Let’s face it, being in front of the camera isn’t for everyone. You can have the “look”, or seem like you got the face for TV but we’ve all seen them struggle saying their links and looked so awkward making us all at home feel uncomfortable to the point we had to change to a different channel. Presenting is not for everyone, it’s not as easy as it looks and it takes times to get used to the camera being in your face all the time, that’s why we are taking this time to salute those who do it so well and make it seem effortless.

In no particular order…….

1. Pearl Modiadie– This charismatic lady is a natural born presenter. You can tell she enjoys what she does and is so damn good at it. Pearl has come so far from her days as a child presenter on etv’s sistahood to hosting one of the most watched shows Zaziwa on sabc1.

2. Minnie Dlamini– The gorgeous Minnie is super talented and full of energy, you are left to feel her presence and get hooked on whatever she’s presenting. Minnie showed her strength in presenting when she moved from a music show to a sports show, anything you throw at her the girl handles.

3. Katlego Maboe– He is one of the most in demand young male presenters right now. Katlego is a presenter on a successful morning show ‘The Expresso Show’ on sabc3. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future for this confident fun presenter.

4. Roxy Burger– She’s witty and funny without a care in the world and mostly an amazing presenter. Roxy who stated her career very young shows a lot of experience and is very comfortable in the front of the camera. The blonde beauty joined the Top Billing team last year and we must say she’s such a pleasure to watch.

5. Lunga Shabalala- Lunga first got his shot at presenting on Selimatunzi, with a bright smile to match personality we can’t get enough of the presenter on his new show “man-cave” on sabc3 with fellow hunk Janez Vermeiren.

6. Bonang Matheba– The much loved queen B* effortless at what she does and also looks good while doing it. With over ten years in the industry, it’s no wonder why she’s an expert.

7. Nomuzi Mabena– The edgy presenter came to fame when she won the first MTV presenter search in 2012 and has never looked back. With a different style Nomuzi has brought a whole new different look this presenting game and we love it.

8. Merica Monamondi– Merica is a young presenter on yotv, and has already gained a big following with the young viewers. The future sure looks bright for this young energized lady.

9. Tumelo Mothotoane– Tumelo is news and current affairs anchor on SABC. Already an amazing news anchor at 23? She sure knows how to make a ninety’s kid feel underachieved.

10. Lee-Roy Wright– Lee-Roy also started as a child presenter along with our favourite girl Pearl Modiadie on etv and he’s come a long way since then. We love his energy and effortless talent he possesses.
