“We Owe No One Any Explanation,” Joe Kazadi on the Passing Away of His Brother. A little over a month ago, the Kazadi family was dealt a hard blow. Their son and brother Chris Kazadi, unexpectedly passed away after he was reportedly shot and killed in Congo.
A few days before then, the model, actor and businessman was having the time of his life in the neighboring Botswana where he attended the Forbes30 Under30 summit. After that Chris then went to Congo, which is his country of origin, where he met his untimely demise.
Chris made a name for himself as the founder and CEO of Click Media, a company that has been around for over six years. As a digital and social media marketer he had a vision for the future. Chris was the first to introduce the notion of Influencer Marketing as a business model here in South Africa. His passing did not only affect his family, but colleagues, industry peers and those who looked up to him.
On Saturday, he will be laid to rest, and his big brother, Joe Kazadi took to Instagram to share the funeral details. The talented actor and model expressed how sensitive the issue is to them as family, and they won’t be dragged into explaining the nature of Chris’ death.
