Skeem Saam’s Keabetswe Leburu (Bontle) On the Sweat It Took Her to Finally Graduate

At most, many people take four years to complete their tertiary education. For Keamogetswe Leburu though, she took a bit longer on her most recent qualification.

The talented actress recently graduated from Boston City Campus. It took her six years to complete her degree, and she is grateful for it all. Kea shared pictures from her graduation, looking as beautiful as ever with loved ones. She also seized the opportunity to share the importance of not revealing some personal stuff to everybody.

I used to share a lot with people I trust about my future plans , my life , family , relationships and all , until I realized I’m sharing so much information with people who’s ears run dry when they have to be my eyes and ears in tables full of opportunities & my big mouth hinder most of my blessings.
“How many times did you know better but didn’t do better,
” Kea said.

After thanking God, her grandparents and family, Kea shared her touching story about the ups and downs she has gone through.

My journey of breakthrough started early 2013 when I got admitted at the Market Market Theatre. Beginning of 2014 I went to audition to dance & be part of Mafikizoko DANCERS and I made it through ….”GOD said WAIT”!!!
Same year in 2014 , I auditioned at Skeem Saam, Little did I know that role was meant for me. I then Graduated from the Market theatre ) ….… “GOD said WAIT” .
-2017 (same year I bought my car 😊) I must say 2017 was a “I FINALLY DID IT “ Year for me , didn’t have a plan on how or where will I receive funds to pay for my fees…”GOD said WAIT”.

Stressed ?? depressed ??? Anxious ??? oh please !!!! I went through it all but I still carried the weight and smiled through all the hardships…..”GOD said WAIT”

Been in a real quandary , had it in the back of my mind to drop out , i will start over again , I never thought I will make it …”GOD said WAIT,” revealed Kea.

Among the things Kea had to do was read scripts, write and submit assignments, go to work, do gigs on weekends as a side hustle among others. Six years later it all paid off, and Kea has another qualification.
