What Your Musical Preference Say About Your Character

Have you ever asked yourself why you like the kind of music you like? Maybe wondered where musical influences come from? I’ve always been curious about why I enjoy the music that I do and where it came from. Apparently the music you listen to says a lot about your character and the kind of person you’re. To say the least some of the characters are not pleasant, so for those who wish to know a little more about themselves through their music here’s what it says about you.

POP
If you’re into Riri, Flo Rida, or Kesha you’re more extroverted, honest, and conventional. Often hardworking and have a high self esteem but tend to be less creative and uneasy. Hate to agree with this.

RAP/HIP HOP
If JayZ and lil Wayne gets you going you are outgoing ,creative and have a high self esteem. They can be a little over confident. You are usually stereotyped as violent and aggressive.

COUNTRY
If you find yourself enjoying CMT than MTV you’re outgoing, hardworking, and conventional although the music is often about heartbreaks and feels sad, you’re mostly emotionally stable.

ROCK/HEAVY METAL
So if your playlist consists mostly with Aerosmith or 30seconds to mars, you tend to be gentle surprisingly, very creative and focused but also introverted with low self esteem.

INDIE
If you enjoy Indie chances are you’re very intelligent, creative and intellectual but less hardworking, less gentle with low self esteem and passivity anxiousness.

DANCE
Very assertive and outgoing obviously, they are free spirited, loves to be around people and easy to relate to. Also very social-able.

CLASSICAL
They are introverted, very creative people, also very calm and conservative,always at ease with themselves and the world around them.

JAZZ/BLUES AND SOUL
If you find yourself enjoying of Hugh Masekela you’re an extroverted person with high self esteem, very intelligent, creative and at ease with themselves.

According to researcher Adrian North of Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, UK, the reason people sometimes feel defensive about their taste in music might be related to how much it relates to their attitudes and personality. ” I know for one if someone attacks my music i feel like they are attacking my personality.
