Applications open for Red Bull Amaphiko Connect Weekends

If you are an aspiring social entrepreneur with a business idea that solves a social problem, we’re calling on you to apply for Amaphiko Connect. Or perhaps you already have a project that solves a social problem and want to learn how to make that business sustainable.

Amaphiko Connect is a series of two-day bootcamps for aspiring social entrepreneurs. The bootcamp connects the entrepreneurs with each other, giving them much-needed resources and linking them with organisations to help them in their journey. But not just that; you’ll be taught how to run a business by established social entrepreneurs and Amaphiko alumni.

What to expect?

Mentorship! Lots of it. On day one of the boot camp, we’ll link you up with established social entrepreneurs who’ll teach you how to turn your idea into a viable social enterprise. From registering your business, putting together a business plan to fundraising, we have experts at hand to teach you the ins and outs of running a business.

Old Mutual (our financial partners for the bootcamps) will also be giving insight on financial management and how to maintain your enterprise’s financial health.

Day two is all about storytelling; more specifically how you “sell” or tell your enterprise’s story to the world. You’ll be taught how to build your brand, engage with your audience and manage your digital and social presence.
