•  Matric and a completed qualification in media, communications or journalism.

Requirements

•  A clean criminal record
•  A Valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities

•  Comply with the requirements of the South African Press Code;
•  Proofread articles;
•  May be required to complete layout and other production-related tasks;
•  May be required to take photographs; and
•  May be required to produce content for online and other platforms

Competencies

•  A good general knowledge
•  Computer literacy
•  Excellent command of written and spoken English
•  Ability to work under pressure
•  A sharp news sense and an ability to generate own stories suitable for the title
