Shannon Benting Crowned Miss African Beauty Supranational 2026. Shannon Benting has officially been named Miss Supranational South Africa 2026 by African Beauty International. The Gauteng-born model and content creator, will represent the country at the prestigious international pageant on 31 July in Nowy Sącz, Poland.
Shannon was crowned on Saturday, 6 June, at Times Square in Pretoria. She competed with other 20 finalists selected from seven of South Africa’s nine provinces. At the end of it all, Shannon impressed the judges and bagged the crown. Reacting to her win, Shannon expressed that she was happy and hopeful for the journey ahead. She can’t wait to represent the country in Poland next month.

The event also saw the unveiling of the Miss African Beauty South Africa 2026 Top 20, from which the country’s representatives for Miss World 2026 and Miss Universe 2026 will be selected. Miss World 2026 is scheduled to take place in Vietnam on September 5, and Miss Universe will be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
