The curves are precise, the materials feel durable, and the slim design makes it comfortable in the hand without any unnecessary bulk.

Now let’s talk storage, because this is where things really hit home for me. With 256GB of storage, there’s a kind of freedom that comes with not constantly worrying about space. As someone who captures a lot of photos and content, storage anxiety is very real. But this time, I could just shoot, create, and store without second-guessing what needs to be deleted.

And Durban gave me the perfect opportunity to put everything to the test.

Instead of asking questions in comment sections like “What brand is this?” or “Where is this place?”, you can simply circle anything on your screen and get instant answers. It’s simple, fast, and surprisingly addictive once you start using it.

As someone who enjoys music, I also found the phone’s music recognition capabilities particularly useful. Discovering Amapiano tracks on the go without constantly switching between apps added to the convenience of the experience. It made everything feel more seamless and integrated throughout the day.

I also appreciated how accessible content consumption became while travelling. Whether listening to articles during long drives or multitasking while moving between locations, the overall experience felt flexible and aligned with how people increasingly consume content today.

Now, if there’s one thing I wish had been included in the creator box, it would probably be a screen protector or a phone case. But I also understand the argument the phone already comes with IP68 water and dust resistance and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, which gives a strong sense of durability out of the box.

Would that stop me from still adding my own protection? Definitely not. But it does add a layer of reassurance knowing the device is built to handle real-world use.
