Mrs South Africa 2026 Verushka Singh Resigns Fro Her Title. Mrs South Africa confirms that Verushka Singh has formally resigned from her title as Mrs South Africa 2026. The beauty queen was crowned in November 2025 at Emperors Palace.
According to a statement released by the Mrs South Africa organization, Verushka has chosen to step down in order to focus on important personal priorities at this time and to prioritize her family. The organization respects her decision and acknowledges the responsibility it takes to make choices that honour one’s well-being and personal journey.
“Verushka has carried the title with dedication and professionalism during her time on the platform. We respect her decision and support her in prioritizing what matters most in this season of her life, ”says Joani Jacobs, CEO of Mrs South Africa.
Verushka on the other had has expressed deep appreciation for the honor to serve as Mrs SA. She emphasized that the decision is entirely her own.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to have served on this platform and for the incredible women I’ve had the privilege of standing alongside. This decision is entirely my own, made with my family’s needs at heart, and I step away with nothing but appreciation for Mrs South Africa and what it stands for,” she said.
With the new developments, First Princess Carika Bebb will assume the duties and responsibilities of Mrs South Africa 2026 with immediate effect.
“It is an honour to step into this role and to continue the work of this incredible women empowerment platform. I am committed to representing Mrs South Africa with purpose and pride, and look forward to making a meaningful difference through the causes close to my heart,” she said.
