Applications Open for the Compensation Fund External Bursary Programme. The Compensation Fund Invites unemployed COID beneficiaries with a permanent disablement (PWD), their dependents and the dependents of fatally injured employees to apply for the Compensation Fund External Bursary opportunity.
Requirements
- The applicants must have been accepted at a recognized Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College, Community Education and Training (CET) College or Higher Education Institution (HEI).
What the Bursary Covers
The bursary coverage: Tuition fees, Prescribed Study Material, Monthly Stipend and Accommodation.
Please Note
The award is renewable every year for the duration of the study programme. This depends on the availability of funds and academic performance

The bursary is open throughout the 2026 academic year; however, applicants are encouraged to send their applications on/before the 31 March 2026
If you do not receive any response from the Compensation Fund within two months after submitting your application, consider your application (as likely) unsuccessful.
