Now the spotlight is on his son AJ Mafokate, who is turning a year older today.
To celebrate his birthday, AJ has just released a new single titled, ‘Joni’. In the project he is featuring N’wa Khambani, Kenza And Don Scott for a collaboration rooted in soulful house and African influences. To make the birthday even more special AJ’s father Arthur penned him a cool birthday shout out. On the post, he shared a picture of him an AJ just chilling.

Arthur and AJ are a father and son duo that many inspire to be. They are always supportive of each other. The two are also in the same industry as musicians and businessmen. AJ has further explored the industry with his YouTube channel called, AJ’s House. In 2017, he joined Ukhozi FM, hosting AJ’s Breakfast Mix show. He has also ventured into reality show, as part of the Born Into Fame cast. In 2023 Arthur publicly announced his plans to hand over 999 Music business to AJ, a gesture that warmed the hearts of many.
