Recently though, they both made it official, that yes, the two are no longer together and have since divorced.
The couple was one of social media’s adored lovebirds. In 2017, their glamorous wedding in Steynshoop Wedding Venue in Magaliesburg was featured on lifestyle show Top Billing. Takkies and Chris moved together in London, where they continued to serve couple goals. Their family dance videos were quite popular with their fans and followers. Sadly Takkies and Chris split while there and went separate ways after almost eight years of marriage. Reports have been doing the rounds that Chris had alleged extramarital affairs.
The now estranged parents of two girls have gone their separate ways and started dating new partners. Chris confirmed that he has since moved on and found new love in another woman in the UK. Every time he posts content with his new woman, South Africans flood the comments section labeling him a cheat, who did Takkies bad. Chris has now come forward to clear his name, and set the record straight.
He stated that he and Takkies separated at the end of 2022, and their divorced was finalized a few months back. Chris then addressed the speculations, which have painted him the bad guy in the divorce. Clearing rumors, Chris says he is the one who filed for divorce, not Takkies. He also rubbished allegations of infidelity being the cause of their split.
“There’s been a few years of incorrect speculation. I’ve held my silence but now is a good time to address my divorce,” he said.
