Papa Penny Sworn In As A Member of Parliament. South Africa is indeed alive with possibilities. Papa Penny has climbed up the political ladder, and now serves as a member of parliament.
Although he is well known as an award winning musician and reality show star, Papa Penny has always been vocal about political affairs. For years, he has always declared publicly that he was a member of the African National Congress (ANC). Under the party, Papa Penny became a ward councilor in Venda, Limpopo.
When it comes to politics though, one can easily change their mind, and join a different party. Papa Penny did so a couple of months back, when he dumped the ANC and joined the newly formed MK Party (MKP). The party is led by former president Jacob Zuma, and did very well in their general elections debut.
Papa Penny is already moving up the rank in his new political family. He, together with Mzwanele Manyi and former Eskom CEO Brian Molefe were recently sworn in as new MK Party MPs.
