Kairo Forbes Dedicates Her Nickelodean Award Win to Her Late Father AKA. South Africa talented personalities, keep on doing amazing things on international stages. Just recently Mkhadzi and Tyla brought home BET awards. The likes of Black Coffee, Nomcebo Zikode and Zakes Bantwini are proud Grammy award winners.
Young ones are also making their mark in the industry with cool awards. A day ago, Kairo Forbes made herself and the country proud with the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards ‘Favourite African Kidfluencer award win. Kairo competed with other local youngsters, being sibling musicians Biko’s Manna and Lethukuthula Bhengu, who won the award last year. Other contestants were Nigeria’s Commissioner DJ Wysei, Wizkid’s eldest son Boluwatife Balogun and another Nigerian act Dream Catchers Academy.
Kairo took to her Instagram page to share the great news. She thanked the awards organizers for her nomination, and graciously congratulated her fellow nominees. Kairo then extended her gratitude to her family and all those who voted for her. She also thanked God for the blessings she keeps on getting. The award is dedicated to AKA, Kairo’s late dad, who was also a national legend.
