“Kairo Had a Tough Week Leading Up to Kiernan’s Birthday,” DJ Zinhle

“Kairo Had a Tough Week Leading Up to Kiernan’s Birthday,” DJ Zinhle. We definitely live to create memories that we can be remembered about when we pass on. Sadly when these memories pop up, they open up wounds for loved ones, who remain behind.

One person who will always e in people’s memories is AKA. Besides being multi-talented, he had a larger than life personality. The multi-award winning rapper and TV personality also loved her daughter Kairo Forbes to bits. In every given moment, AKA created beautiful memories with her daughter. The two spent quality time together, went on dates, traveled together, and always hyped each other.

On Sunday, it would’ve been AKA’s 36th birthday. Sadly he is no more, and the day was a difficult one for his loved ones. Among those is Kairo, who has been battling with grief since her father’s untimely passing. Her mom DJ Zinhle, shared on social media that the week has been a difficult one for Kairo.

Kairo had a tough week leading up to Kiernan’s birthday, as a mother, I want her to heal & celebrate her dad but it’s too soon.

The past year has been a roller coaster, my God!!! Everyday I hold my breath hoping she’s okay… I feel helpless cause I can’t help my child deal with the pain,” Zinhle said.

There are many people ho have been helping them to pull through. One of those is Zinhle’s husband, Murdah Bongz. Zinhle thanked him for holding them close as well as protecting them. “My prayer is that we never fail Kairo, that we always allow love & kindness to flow into her life so she never feels lost without Kiernan. I know that will take time but I trust God, it might not be now but God knows you’ve put pride aside for your family & I am grateful for you,” she added.

She also thanked her family the Jiyanes, the Mohosanas, the Forbes, Nadia Nakai and all her friends.

Kairo also shared a short but powerful tribute to her dad.
