Having noted that, some residents in Johannesburg have to brace themselves for an 8-hour outage next week. The power interruptions are for residents and businesses in Gresswold and surrounding areas. They are scheduled for Tuesday, 12 December 2023, from 8:00 to 16:00 at the Gresswold substation.

This interruption is essential for conducting critical maintenance work on the power network, aligning with the entity’s commitment to continuously improve service quality.

The affected areas include Rouxville, Sandringham, Glenda, Raedene Estate, Sydenham, Fairmount, Fairmount Ridge Ext.2, Highlands North, Fairmount Ext. 2, Savoy Estate, Waverly, Bramley North Ext. 1, 2, Bramley Park, Glen Atholl Ext 1, Raumarais Park, Bramley, Bramley North, and Gresswold.
