Julius Malema Enters the Crowthorne Christian Academy Conversation With Some Hectic Warnings
Julius Malema Enters the Crowthorne Christian Academy Conversation With Some Hectic Warnings. The school has been trending for the past couple of days. This is because of the incident where a pupil was chased out of class because of her hairstyle.
A couple of days ago, there was a disagreement between the Crowthorne Christian Academy principal and a learner’s mother. This was regarding the school policy in relation to the learner’s dreadlocks hairstyle. The argument resulted in the school principal’s husband Andries Hendrick Booysen, allegedly violently pushing the learner and her mother.
Of course the incident caused an outrage on Twitter with many saying the child was racially discriminated against. The EFF members then paid a visit to Crowthorne Christian Academy which was also found to be allegedly operation illegally. The school has closed operation, as the issue escalates.
Booysen was arrested on the 17 August on two charges of assault. He was released on bail of R2000, on condition that he should not make any contact or interfere with state witnesses, whether directly or indirectly. The case has been postponed to 02 October 2023 for further investigations.
When everyone thought the issue is dying down, EFF leader, Julius Malema has joined the conversation. On his tweet he orders Booysen to apologize to the pupil and allow her back in school by Monday. Malema also added that he must offer to pay for the pupil’s professional counseling.
“Whoever knows Andries Booysen ask him to say sorry and allow the child back into school by Monday if he knows what’s good for him and the school. He must offer to pay for professional counselling of the child,” Malema said.
