Social Media Reacts to Jub Jub Arrested for Rape, Attempted Murder and Assault

Social Media Reacts to Jub Jub Arrested for Rape, Attempted Murder and Assault. Molemo Maarohanye, popularly known as Jub Jub, handed himself over to the police today on the 27th of July 2023. Jub Jub appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on charges of attempted murder and rape of Amanda Du-Pont.

The talented actress, media personality and entrepreneur accused Jub Jub of rape and attempted murder and opened a case against him in February 2022. Amanda stated that Jub Jub, rapped her for a period of two years, but she was afraid to leave because of the power that his mother had. She further went to reveal that she had an abortion, because she couldn’t bring herself to raise a child who was a result of rape.

All of this started just after Jub Jub was a guest on Podcast and Chill with MacG. Among the things that he spoke about was his current relationship with his Baby Mama Kelly Khumalo as well as his stay in jail. Jub Jub also left many shocked when he revealed that he once dated Amanda du-Pont. The Uyajola 9/9 presenter stated that he cheated Amanda with Kelly, after the multi award winning musician used muthi to blindfold him. This led to him getting dumped by Amanda immediately after she found out.

Amanda said she kept quite about the alleged abuse, because she didn’t want any drama in her life. The the fact that Jub Jub and MacG dragged her on the show was the last straw, though. She said Jub Jub could be working hard to clear his name, more so since he killed school kids a few years ago, while high on cocaine instead of using her name for clout. She also expressed her disappointment on MacG, who seems to have already taken Jub Jub’s side without verifying the story first.

Jub Jub, has just been granted bail, after handing himself in. As expected, this is the most talked about issue on social media.
